Thatch is an accumulation of dead grass, gathered from yard clippings and fertilizing with high nitrogen levels. Over a ½ inch of thatch will suffocate your lawn, while under a ½ inch will enrich your foundation. We use an industrial sized machine called a dethatcher that will remove all your thatch that no rake can compete with.

Bonus: When you dethatch your lawn, not only will we clear your lawn free of thatch but we will be removing all the debris that is on your lawn.
